Thank you for visiting my site, my name is Laura and I have lived in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, UK since 1985.

I have always loved 'Arts & Crafts' and have enjoyed exploring numerous media through the years, ranging from drawing, painting, pottery & textiles to cake decorating, sweet making, woodwork, metalwork and home decorating.

When I left school, I desperately wanted to work with young children, so I took a BEd in art and Design. My teaching career (mostly with Infant children) spanned nearly 23 years. I loved my job for most of that time and managed to dabble in art & craft projects from time to time. But the job changed so much over the years; finally I decided that enough was enough. When I left teaching I wanted to work with a variety of crafts - so that I didn't get bored! I also wanted to make something different; not the normal Birthday & Christmas cards, although I do make my own, and will happily make them if requested to do so.
During my last year of teaching I became interested in Reiki. I also started going to yoga, which I love and wish I had found earlier in my life, it fits in so well with the Reiki. I wanted to share my lovely new experiences and so decided to make craft things with a well-being theme.
